Rüdiger Köppe Verlag is currently undergoing a transitional phase following its acquisition by Clavis Aurea, Leiden, the Netherlands.

The publishing activities of the Verlag will continue under the new ownership and will be further developed from its new base in Leiden. The publishing house remains committed to its longstanding academic focus on African Studies and related fields.

At present, we are working on establishing the necessary organisational and operational infrastructure in the Netherlands. During this transition period, certain business activities may remain limited until further notice.

Full operational activities are expected to resume towards the end of 2026.
