Saharan Languages
The Saharan languages are one of the two branches of the Nilo-Saharan language phylum. The Saharan languages consist, among others, of Kanuri, Teda-Daza/Tubu, Berti and Zaghawa. Geographically the Saharan languages are found around lake Chad (especially in Niger and north Nigeria), the Sudan, as well as pockets in some oases in the Libyan desert.
